Key Tasks | ||
· Support the Chief of Staff in key administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities | ||
· Responding to diary requests and invites. · Acknowledge/respond to enquiries from non-constituents. · Creating and maintaining contact and other databases. · Keeping filing systems up to date and organised. Carry out filing tasks. · Keeping office well stocked with stationery and other supplies. · Maintaining correspondence tracking systems and carry out tasks such as sending copies of Minister’s replies, parliamentary questions and speeches to constituents. · Taking phone messages · Liaising with constituents to book tours and visits to the House of Commons. · Liaising with the Parliamentary ICT team to resolve IT problems. · Uploading content to relevant Green Party websites. · Supporting the parliamentary office with responding to routine correspondence and enquiries from constituents. · Adherence to the Data Protection Act principles and respect the confidentiality of data at all times.
Person specification Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office, email, social media and working with websites Good oral and written communication skills, including a friendly telephone manner. Well organised and efficient. Able to manage a workload that involves some regular and some one-off tasks, meeting deadlines and working to a high standard of accuracy. Proactive and a self starter. Reliable and discreet. A good team player who is flexible and adaptable.
