Release of Jim Fitton

Dear Liz,

I am writing to you with my concerns about the arrest of Jim Fitton in Iraq. I’m extremely concerned about his safety and well-being, particularly ahead of his court hearing which is expected imminently.

I want to urge you to meet with Jim’s family, as well as discuss with your Iraqi counterparts bringing Jim home safely. I would very much appreciate a response to these points and ask you to act urgently to prevent Jim’s potentially life-changing sentence.
