I gave a speech to the Oxford Real Farming Conference last week, on why we need Green New Deal for food and farming to deliver a 10-year transition to agroecology. Here's part of what I said.

We need to urgently review the way we treat nature. And be honest about how much we depend on it, for our food, our own well-being and ultimately, our own survival.
