One Billion Rising brings people together to speak out against the shocking scale of violence against women.

Caroline said:

“Across the world, women are making their voices heard, and I’m proud that Brighton is part of it.

“Internationally, one in three women in the world will be raped or beaten in her lifetime.  Millions of others will be ‘honour-killed’, trafficked, gang-raped, or face domestic violence.

“Tonight we stand up and demand an end to violence against women and girls.”
