Greetings card competition

I’m delighted to announce the results in the competition to design the greetings card that I’ll send out from my Westminster office in the run-up to Christmas.

The winning design is by Harriet Hoad in Year 3 at Carden Primary School and is pictured above.

It’s such a striking image and I love the humour and the strong reference to the building that gives this constituency its name.

Runners-up are Kirk Horn McAvoy in Year 4 at Carden Primary School and Johnny Jones in Year 1 at St Bartholomew's C of E Primary School, whose designs are pictured below.

Five further entrants are also commended for their imaginative and creative work.

I would like to thank the children who took part: the standard of entries was very high and I thoroughly enjoyed looking through them all.

There are some talented young artists here in Brighton Pavilion and I’m pleased to get to showcase one of them – congratulations Harriet!
