Caroline will be holding the extra surgery on a route 50 bus which will begin at 9.47am at bus stop A, on the north side of North Street and continue on the bus until 12noon where constituents will be able to raise their concerns with her.
If constituents wish to discuss personal or private matters, they can still do this at one of Caroline’s regular surgeries which are confidential.
Caroline Lucas, MP for Brighton Pavilion said:
“As a regular bus user, I am approached all of the time by people who raise their concerns with me. Holding a surgery on the bus will make it even easier for people to meet me in person to discuss the issues that matter to them.
“I hold surgeries every week in my constituency office, but it’s good to get out and reach people who might not otherwise think of making an appointment.
“I would like to thank Brighton and Hove Buses for giving me the opportunity to hold this surgery on one of their buses.”
