Preparing for a meeting with National Rail tomorrow, which looks like it will be very interesting. The need for more capacity on the line between Brighton and London will be high on my agenda! As a regular user of trains on that route, I know only too well how disruptive poor services can be - and from conversations I've had with fellow passengers, it's clearly a priority issue for many.
I'll also be meeting with the Community and Voluntary Sector Forum to listen to the challenges they face and hear about successes they've had. The CVSF do fantastic work locally, helping community organisations to work together for the changes people really want, and I'm really looking forward to hearing what they have to say.
Finally, hope I'm back from canvassing in time to catch the Channel 4 political slot at 19:55 this evening, which features local residents talking to me about what they want from their MP. Really enjoyed filming this in North Laine, and hope it looks as good on screen as it does in my head!
