Students at local primary schools are being encouraged to put pens and paint brushes to paper to design a "Season's Greetings" card for Brighton Pavilion MP Caroline Lucas to send out this winter.
Pupils from schools in the Brighton Pavilion constituency have until Friday 23rd November to submit designs to their school office.
The winning design and runner ups will be announced during the week commencing 27 November and will be used for e-cards to be sent out from Caroline’s Westminster office to hundreds of her constituents and other contacts.
The design will also feature on the MP’s website – www.carolinelucas.com – and Facebook page.
Caroline Lucas MP said: “I’m always delighted to have this opportunity to showcase the creative talents of school children in my constituency! Each year I have done this contest I have been inundated with beautiful, colourful artwork of Brighton in all it's winter splendour - from the Royal Pavilion to the West Pier, Santa to seagulls, I very much look forward to seeing this years entries - which could very well be the final time before my time as an MP comes to an end."
Caroline has written to schools in the constituency today with competition details.
