I’m delighted to announce the results in the competition to design the greetings cards that I’ll send out in the run-up to Christmas

The winning designs are by:

Carlos Delgado Villalta in Year 4 at St Joseph’s Primary School

Zuzanna Wszola in Year 6 at St Joseph’s Primary School

Angela Dhelpra in Year 1 at St Bartholomew’s.

I think these beautiful entries all make such brilliant use of colour and paint a lovely seasonal picture of Brighton in the winter – It was wondeful to meet the winners last week and congratulating them in person.

There were so many amazing entries that I had to pick quite a few runners up too who I will be writng to say thank you and congratulations. The standard of entries was very high and I thoroughly enjoyed looking through them all. There are some talented young artists here in Brighton Pavilion and I’m pleased to get to showcase them – congratulations to the winners and thank you to everyone who entered!
