Update on weekend: spent Saturday meeting shoppers in the city centre, and also welcoming volunteers to the biggest action day so far in the election campaign - amazing turn-out.
We covered half the constituency with various campaign activities and election publicity in less than a day.
In the evening attended a sell-out comedy night at Brighton's Theatre Royal in support of the Green Party's bid to win its first MPs.
Marcus Brigstocke (who also compered) organised the talented line-up - star comedy names included Mark Steel, Alistair McGowan and local boy Stephen Grant.
Humour is a great way to convey political messages.
Particularly memorable was Mark Steel's penetratingly accurate portrayal of Labour ministers who took us to war in Iraq who now say it was all a mistake.
How was it, Mark asked, that the million people who marched through London in February 2003 to try to prevent the Iraq war knew it was a mistake but government ministers didn't?
Meanwhile, Stephen Grant's take on the unreliability of local train services had me laughing literally to tears.
Thanks, guys! A fantastic night I won't forget.
On Sunday, really enjoyed speaking to the Gloucester Place Baptist Church in the morning.
Many seemed keenly interested in our message that "Fairness is Worth Fighting For", and wanted to hear Green Party views on housing, equalities and, of course, job cuts.
Was pleased to talk about Green plans to promote a state pension at £170 a week, above the National Pensioners Convention recommendations.
Afterwards did a TV interview for ITN evening news on a very windy and drizzly Brighton sea-front.
Subject was how the Tories (who were still in town for their conference) seem to be failing to win over voters in Brighton.
Why? Answer: people take their politics very seriously here and are a hard game to fool. They can see through those Tory smiles and recognise what lies behind them.
Then went straight into a live (and lively) panel debate with my opponent candidates on BBC South Politics Show.
All in all a very busy weekend, but thoroughly enjoyed it - a huge thank you, again, to all those who came out to help leaflet and canvass, really, really appreciate it.
