A good, but exhausing weekend!
On Saturday I was tramping the streets of Withdean, and getting a really warm response on the doorsteps. Many thanks to all the friends and colleagues who came out to help.
Sunday, of course, was Mothers' Day. I spent quite a bit of it on a webchat with Netmums, answering questions on everything from Green Party policy on health visitors to our policies on Iraq and Afghanistan, while jumping up every now and then to tend to my own kids, and asking them to be a bit quieter.
Gordon Brown was on straight after me - I found myself wondering whether he had the same challenges!
The issue of policy for mothers, and indeed for all women, will be top of the agenda on Tuesday evening, when I'm taking part in a Women's Hustings at Westminster Central Hall, along with Theresa May, Vera Baird, and Lynne Featherstone.
