In light of Shaker Aamer's rapid deteriorating condition in Guantanamo Bay, I've sent this message of support to the Save Shaker campaign.

Foreign Secretary William Hague told me yesterday that the UK is putting all the pressure it can on the US authorities to allow Shaker to return to the UK.

But despite having twice been cleared for transfer from Guantanamo, he is still being detained.
